Dear Church Family,
Over the weekend, I pulled out my sewing machine and made a
couple of masks. I want to be ready in
case things start to open up and the requirement is that we wear face masks. It’s important that we not become complacent
about the future; that we resign ourselves to the current state of affairs. Things will not always be like they are
today.
The teacher in Ecclesiastes reminds us that “there is a time
for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens” (Eccl 3:1). This
may be the time to stay home, but the time is coming when we will get back to
work and to school and to church and to our families and friends. Let’s be ready for when that time comes.
Psalm 90:12: Teach us, Lord, to number our days, that we may
gain a heart of wisdom.”
Pastor Rita
